SHEFFIELD & ELECTRONIC MUSIC
Sheffield has a remarkable place in the history of synthpop and electronic music. From The Human League, Heaven 17, ABC and Cabaret Voltaire to the later influence of Warp Records, the city became an important centre for pioneering electronic sounds. Exciting Valence is an independent pop music project from Germany, connecting its own synthpop and synthwave sound with the wider international history of electronic pop.
